The German Federal Land Schleswig Holstein supports the Job GmbH with a sum of 154.126,00 EUR for the development of a new precision glass machine.

By the introduction of this new machine the quality of the raw glass ampoules will be improved, the fabrication tolerances will be minimized and furthermore new markets by new tecnology are provided.

 Once again the JOB GmbH was honoured as one of the outstanding enterprises in Schleswig Holstein.

 

Ahrensburg – Sprinkler devices are the best protection against conflagration.

For example, the installation of such devices is as cheap as the price of a carpet / m2. Typically, sprinkler devices are applied to hospitals, hotels or airports. Their functionality is mainly based on thermal activation of the extinguishing procedure. 

Today`s sprinkler heads are particularly sealed with a thermo bulb, containing a spe-cific and coloured liquid. During fire, this specific liquid is expanding, the bulb is bursting and water is escaping via sprinkler-heads. 

JOB GmbH (JOB) is developing, producing and supplying such fluid-filled sprinkler-bulbs. With its new project, JOB is intending to develop a sprinkler device to produce bulbs with an exceedingly low production tolerance, effecting a specific customisation. The Federal Estate of Schleswig-Holstein is subsidising JOB GmbH and its de-velopment of this plant-specific, product-specific facility in the amount of EUR 154.126. 

Glass tubes will be used for the production of raw bulb, thermo bulbs respectively. Therefore it is essential that these glass tubes are of high-quality next to utmost precision concerning diameter and wall thickness. This utmost precision is having an immense impact on activation next to processing. Using state-of-the-art technology, JOB GmbH is purchasing glass tubes of diverse quality category to continue processing of thermo bulbs. 

However, the quality category will not consider dimensions nor scattering of the glass tubes in classification. In fact, tubes with a minor external diameter will have the same quality category as the tubes of major wall thickness. In consequence of a different thermo bulb activation, this is naturally effecting an increased selection of the bulb production.  

Own produced glass tubes seem to be the solution to the problem - JOB GmbH is planning to develop a product-specific device to draw-out the glass in a more than highly precise and plant-specific way. Aforesaid this newly developed device will facilitate the specific customisation and production. Moreover there will be an improvement in activating, higher resistance and accuracy in temperature.

Henceforth, raw glass tubes of a considerable major diameter and wall thickness will be used in this particular device to draw the glass. In that particular process of drawing, the glass tube will be reduced to the required measurement and also refined. With this particular device, JOB GmbH is planning to produce the thermo bulbs in an increasingly higher diversity and also to open an additional market potential. Moreover, due to this project, JOB GmbH is providing 3 new jobs within the company. Additionally, these jobs will safeguard the employment.

Super Fast Response Sprinkler Bulbs for Life Safety

Fast: Several hundred Millions of Job F3 Fast Response Thermo Bulbs with a RTI of 32 (ms)1/2 [58 (fts)1/2] are used in the day to day service for life safety and property protection world wide.  

Fast and Robust: In 2005 we have introduced our Heavy Duty Fast Response Thermo Bulb Type F3-SP “superior” featuring an approx. 50% higher resistance against side impacts with the same Response Time Index of 32 (ms)1/2 [58 (fts)1/2] as our well established Thermo Bulb type F3. More than 100 Mio. bulbs of this type have been installed. Not only the resistance against side impacts is increased but also the guaranteed crush load from 3,5 kN [770 lbs] to more than 4,1 kN [900 lbs].  

Super Fast and Robust: Our new Thermo Bulb Type F3-F "Super Fast" is the high performance Version of our Fast Response glass bulb type F3-SP featuring improved sensitivity characteristics. Having the same strength characteristics we have improved the Response Time Index by 25% to 24 (ms)1/2 [43 (fts)1/2] to be classified Super fast response as our Thermo Bulb Type F2.5
